Hi I'm Jessica
I'm a 23 year old college grad in southern NH figuring out life during these crazy times. Among other jobs, I've been a member at The Pottery Mill in Lowell MA since last August and now I even get to work there part time while making my own pottery too.
I've been incredibly lucky to be able to do work I enjoy and have support from so many of you so thank you so much for all of it.
How it began
JLD Pottery was founded in late summer 2020 after I finished my BS in environmental science and biology. After taking a ceramics class the fall of my senior year (and a small part of spring 2020.) I created the Gerald’s.
They were never intended to be mass produced or even popular at all. They were just an idea I liked for my 30+ houseplants and my classmates thought they were cute. After messing around on TikTok a bit I had a video with a few of them go a little viral.
Life comes at you fast and here we are now having finished those last 4 months of 2020 making over 150 Gerald’s and shipping them all over the US.
Thank you for being here on my journey and all the love and support you’ve all given me. I wouldn’t be here without it.
